The plumber has started doing his thing, crack and all.

In this picture, you will see the "island" for the kitchen with the plumbing sticking up for the kitchen sink.

Side view of the hardiplank. I think they are mostly done. They are just waiting on one window to be installed in the master bath, then they will finish the siding.

I'm expecting the electricians to be on site TODAY and should have some more pictures soon.

Here are the latest pictures from the last week or so..

On 7/13, they have the roof on (roof, roof roof!) and the Tyvek house wrap on! Lookin' good!

Just a few days later, the windows and doors went in. Here is a shot from the kitchen looking towards the back porch.

Today, 7/16, the siding (hardiplank) gets started.

Happy 4th of July!
I felt it would be a good time to raise a flag at the job site. I didn't want to mount the flag on the house (to be in the way of building) so I mounted it on the temp power feed (probably not a good place either). I plan to move the flag over to the inspectors pole in the next day or so..

Here you can see the shell of the house.. Most of the framing is done... They still need to build/install stairs. Once this happens, I will get more pictures of the inside.

I would expect windows to be installed soon as well as the roof shingles.

Here is a cross section of the family room. Looks like they got the fireplace installed.
