The drywall took longer than I thought.. They put 2-3 coats of mud on and it took a day or so, each time, to dry. But, end result, the drywall looks good.

The trim work has begun.

Most of the doors are in and the baseboards are being installed now.

I suspect that the cabinets will be going in next week.

This is the end of the second week.

All inspections have been completed and the drywall is being dropped off (and hung) on Monday.

Here is the final view of the basement (I thought I would try video this time) just prior to the drywall going up.

Lots has happened this week (and weekend).

On Monday, they threw up a ton of 2x4's and finished all the framing. Here is a quick picture of the media room. The wire loop is for future sconces.

The electricians came out on Friday and today (Monday). They finished their rough in. Here is a picture of a step lights.

Low voltage (computer, TV, etc.) was installed on Saturday. Here is a picture of two conduits which terminate in the bedroom closet as well as some of the cables that were pulled.

This picture shows the combined efforts of the framers, plumbers (they came out on Tuesday) as well as electricans. This is "B's Bar" - drinks anyone?

Next step is to have the City inspect the electrial work. Then we will be ready for drywall (maybe Friday)....
